When I write the posts for the blog, I take information and ideas from other sources. It is fundamental to make sure that these sources are reliable though, in order to create a valid post. Because of this, it is important to evaluate the online sources before using them. As bloggers, we need to gain the trust of our followers, which is why it is important to state accurate information since the beginning.
The first source I believe is necessary for our topic, is an Instagram account with different pictures of influential work. The name of the account is @streetartglobe, but they too have an online webpage called UpFade. It is the "front page of the art world", which allows me to keep up to date with the new works of the different artists. I am able to find new topics to write about, plus I get inspiration.
I think that it is also important to have a good example of a blog that treats a topic similar to yours. This helps you expand your creativity, take ideas and improve them. This is why, I like to get inspiration from Street Art Utopia, which is a page that introduces the world to new artists and their street work.
Finally, I like to navigate in street art artists' web pages, in order to be updates with their own work. For example, Alexandre Orion is a street artist who has a powerful message to transmit to the world. I like to explore in his web page for inspiration. He allows me to understand the importance of street art through his point of view. His page offers pictures of his work, as well as descriptions of each. '
Taking the information from elsewhere is essential in order to create an interactive, informative and interesting blog. Nonetheless, it is fundamental to cite the sources where the information was taken from in order to give merit to the authors who wrote it.
